Product Description

Ultraviolet absorber is a light stabilizer that can absorb the ultraviolet part of sunlight and fluorescent light sources without changing itself. Plastics and other polymer materials under sunlight and fluorescence, due to the action of ultraviolet light, automatic oxidation reaction, resulting in degradation of polymers and deterioration, so that the appearance and mechanical properties deteriorate. After adding ultraviolet absorber, this high-energy ultraviolet light can be selectively absorbed, so that it becomes harmless energy and released or consumed. The type of polymer is different, the ultraviolet wavelength of its degradation is not the same, different ultraviolet absorbers can absorb different wavelengths of ultraviolet light, when used, should be selected according to the type of polymer ultraviolet absorbers. Uv absorbent should have the following conditions:


1, can strongly absorb ultraviolet light (especially the wavelength of 290-400nm);
2,Good thermal stability, even in processing will not change due to heat, thermal volatility is small;
3, Good chemical stability, no adverse reaction with the material components in the product;
4, Good miscibility, can be evenly dispersed in the material, no spray, no seepage;
5, The photochemical stability of the absorbent itself is good, does not decompose, does not change color; Colorless, non-toxic, odorless;

Product use:
Mainly used in polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, unsaturated resin, polycarbonate, polymethyl methylate, polyethylene, ABS resin, epoxy resin, fiber resin and so on.
